Things we love! {TORONTO} January 13 2015

This week we're heading north to beautiful city of Toronto! This French and English speaking city on the water is considered one of the most livable cities.

In honor of our new Toronto boots, we are exploring the city where it got its name.

Just like the city, the Toronto boot is chic, urban and stylish. Even better, the slip-resistant sole keeps you steady on slick city streets.

The CN Tower is the city's tallest and most recognizable landmark. If you're feeling brave, walk across the glass floor, a mere 113 stories about ground. If you're REALLY brave, try to EdgeWalk, where you'll walk around the outside of the building, 116 floors above the ground. Bon chance!

Considered by some as one of the world's best food markets, St. Lawrence Market is a beautiful covered market with many different types of food and fresh fruits and vegetables.

Have a desire to escape the city? Take a ferry at Queen's Quay and head to the Toronto Islands. Composed of eight small islands, this is a nice day trip to picnic, walk around, kayak and enjoy.

What are your favorite things to do in Toronto?

London Showers June 02 2014

With this gorgeous California sunshine we've been having here, it's hard to think about rainy days or even wearing more than a bikini and cutoff shorts. Even though we love soaking up the sun, we can't help but to think about what it would be like to experience something a little different. We are dreaming about traveling to a place like London where we can wear our favorite DAV boots with cozy fall coats and skinny jeans.

London is a great place to experiment with your chicest pieces in your wardrobe (all while enjoying a spot of tea). If we were planning a trip, we would bring the Devon Solid Black tall boots because they are so versatile (and would look great in a photo with Big Ben)!
Where are you all hoping (or dreaming) of going this summer?

Fringe is IN May 22 2014

The original effortlessly cool fringe from the 1970s is making its way back into fashion for 2014 and it's better than ever. Partially due to the recent popularity of spring and summer music festivals, the trend has been spotted on runways, accessories and even vintage pieces pulled from our mother's closets. Since full on fringe is sometimes a little overwhelming for everyday wear, it's a good idea to keep it down to one minimal piece like a handbag, shoes or a foxy jacket.

The mid-length Sydney fringe boot in chocolate or black is the perfect way to sport the fringe trend for summer. The mid-calf length makes the boot work with airy summer dresses as well as jeans for cooler fall days to come and the best part is, they are water resistant!
